Showcasing GasClam at ESGOS 2014
This month, we showcased our unique ground-gas monitor, GasClam®, at the European Shale Gas and Oil Summit 2014 in London.
The event brought together key stakeholders including shale gas operators, key opinion leaders and European government representatives to discuss policy, strategy, environmental regulation and community engagement.
Exploitation of unconventional gas resources, such as shale and coal bed methane, continues to be questioned due to fears around the environmental impact of drilling. In particular, concerns are raised around the potential for gas leakage and migration into ground water, the subsurface and atmosphere.
Developed specifically for the continuous monitoring of ground-gas and to address these types of concerns, GasClam® is uniquely placed to enable site owners to monitor, report and demonstrate that operations are not adversely impacting upon the environment.
