GasClam® is the world’s first in-situ borehole gas monitor, suitable for the detection of a wide range of gasses and variables commonly found in boreholes.

Standard features include:

  • Methane CH4
  • Carbon dioxide CO2
  • Oxygen O2
  • Temperature
  • Barometric pressure
  • Borehole pressure

Optional upgrades include:

  • Photo-ionisation detector (PID) for detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
  • Carbon monoxide (CO) sensor
  • Hydrogen sulphide (H2S) sensor
  • Water depth sensor

Measurements can be taken at user-defined intervals. The default setting for the GasClam® is to sample every hour and upload data every six hours providing up to two months battery life (with rechargeable D-cell batteries).

Data is downloaded to your PC or via an optional GPRS telemetry module for remote data communication.
